I don't know anything about Rcmdr, but perhaps you are forgetting or never knew that each x.y minor version starts a new package library, so any packages you had installed in the preceding minor version have to be reinstalled. -- Sent from my phone. Please excuse my brevity. On July 24, 2017

Jack, I do not use Rcmdr, but I installed the binary package version 2.3-2. It came right up when I then ran the following at the prompt (console output is appended without edits): > sessionInfo();library("Rcmdr");sessionInfo() R version 3.4.1 (2017-06-30) Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin15.6.0
