Hi All,
We have tried to install R in AIX. But it seems the installation is not
complete because when we run R, we always get an error message like
XXXR
Error in objects(i, all.names = TRUE) : failed to open ICU collator
And if we want to install a new package, we get
install.packages
Take a look into your library and manually remove the 00LOCK directory
(if exists) and you can also delete the fields directory therein. Then
start a clean R session without attaching/loading/importing fields and
try to reinstall it which should work now.

I used packages 'fields. when I load workspace again, then
do installation again.
I get the following error. I read R for Windows FAQ (4.8 see below), but I
still can't
figure it out. Does anyone can help me out?
