Hi, I am in trying to get a new Linux Cluster. I am
thinking about putting R on it. Does anyone have any
experience with running R on a distributed Linux
Cluster? Or does R support a cluster environment at
all. Any pitfall I should really watch out for?

Hi, do any one have experience with loading dataset
that is larger than 2GB into R. My organization is a
SAS oriented shop and I'm in the process of switching
it to R. One of the complain about R has always been
it's inability to handle large dataset (GB)
efficiently. I would like some comments
garbage collection? Is
there a free command in R?
