Re: [R-pkg-devel] read-only mirror of the CRAN R package repository on GitHub

2019-04-12 Thread Gábor Csárdi
I have just added this package. The mirror had some hiccups a couple
of weeks ago when we had to switch to synchronize from a cran mirror
instead of the main CRAN site.
Turns out mirrors often have slightly inconsistent data/metadata, not
very surprisingly, and this threw off the mirroring script.

I'll make sure that all packages are up to date soon.

If you have any more issues, please report in the issue tracker Ben
pointer to below. Thanks!

Gabor

  It's provided by METACRAN: https://www.r-pkg.org/about

https://github.com/metacran/metacranweb/issues is a good place to report
problems/ask questions.

2019-04-11 Thread Jeff Newmiller
I don't think "CRAN" (R Core) _ever_ did this... it was a volunteer effort by
someone independently.
