Hi Everyone,
I am new to RoR. I was trying to install radiant CMS on my windows machine.
I encountered the following error:
C:\dev\ruby\firstgem --version
1.3.5
C:\dev\ruby\firstruby --version
ruby 1.9.1p243 (2009-07-16 revision 24175) [i386-mingw32]
C:\dev\ruby\firstgem install radiant
I don't believe we're running on ruby 1.9.1 yet.
I haven't tried, but I know that there has at least been some work toward that.
But this looks like a problem with the RedCloth gem.
There is a ticket related to ruby 1.9.1 for RedCloth here:
Oh! Thanks, Jim!!

For the short term, if you want to just get radiant going, you can
lose the RedCloth gem and Radiant will fall back to the bundled
RedCloth 3.0.4. Sounds like you might
Thanks, Jason.
I downgraded my ruby to 1.8.6 and install RedCloth using:
gem install RedCloth -v 4.2 --platform=x86-mswin32-60
radiant installation is now successful.
Regards,
Adrian
