I've been looking at the twitter_tags extension which uses the
underlying twitter gem. Not quite sure of the auth/api differences but
it seems that we can only get a users "recent" tweets this way from
the gem. I simply want to show the n latest tweets from my user
account.

I've been playing around with configuring a template install of
Radiant with a few extensions that I'd like to use as the basis for a
number of small client websites.
My server is a shared host on Hosting Rails, they have Radiant 0.6.9
installed as a GEM.
I'm assuming it's safe to clone 0
