the same job?

Hello!
The newsletter extension is one of the most crucial extensions for me,
and I keep watching for an update, but thus far, I haven't seen one.
Does anyone know of anybody working to update the extension? I'd be
willing to beta test or help in any way, but I simply don't have the

Hey all,
I am about to add the newsletter extension to a project, but first I wanted
to ask a few questions about it.
1. Can it send an email confirmation back to the person that signed up?

goes through, your SMTP settings must be correct. That would have been
my first guess otherwise.
You must run rake radiant:extensions:newsletter:email:send to send

Hi there!
I was looking for a newsletter extension and I found the one made by
Andrea Franz, which seems to be the only one or at least the most used.
It's pretty good and everything work except the send newsletter part.
When I send a newsletter as a test email it works but when I send it to
all
I have been using newsletter for some time, but havent sent a newsletter yet
although there is 800+ mails in db
problem is that the mails that i have sent (via postfix) as test did not go
to hotmail users (gmail accepted tho)
alternatively i started google apps but it has some sending limits
Maybe you should look into something like CampaignMonitor? I don't know
if that will help but it has been mentioned positively multiple times in
my presence.

I gather that the default delivery method for action mailer is smtp.
Replacing the two lines of config given above with the following:
config.action_mailer.delivery_method = :smtp
I didn't test the newsletter extensions with the new radiant yet. But
I know that server_settings was renamed
