Dataset (and some other plugins) is included via git submodules. When
you freshly clone or pull from the main Radiant repo, do this:
git submodule init && git submodule update

I cloned Radiant from git:
git clone git://github.com/radiant/radiant.git
... and tried to run the specs. After a couple ordinary hurdles (database
not created, etc.) I ran into one that surprised me:
/Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in
`gem_original_require': no such file to load -- dataset (MissingSourceFile)
On investigation, I had a vendor/plugins/dataset directory, but it was
empty. Tried installing the plugin:
./script/plugin install git://github.com/aiwilliams/dataset.git
but it failed because the plugin was 'already installed' (i.e., there was a
directory there). This worked:
./script/plugin install --force git://github.com/aiwilliams/dataset.git
Same problem and fix for vendor/plugins/spec_integration.
The specs are all running fine now. But is that how this is supposed to
work? Is there an easier way I missed?
