Updating a page part won't update the updated_at attribute of its parent page.
This has been discussed before [1] but AFAICS hasn't been fixed in Radiant
0.8.2 [2]
I've created an issue on github, is there a chance to see that in radiant soon?

I'm still on Radiant 0.8.1 and want to add the gallery extension.
Under http://github.com/pilu/radiant-gallery# I see two branches (0.7.1
& master). But this versions are not maintained any more. Under
http://github.com/hairballopolis/radiant-gallery# there are the two
branches 0.9 & m
Sorry for writing this before digging deeper into it. I've found the
right version and all things are up and running.

Is it intentional that there is no script/plugin script in Radiant 0.9.0?
I've got an extension that requires a couple of plugins (e.g. workling,
spawn) which say I should run 'script/plugin install' but alas, no such
script exists.

No, just the updated_at attribute of the single page to which the updated
page_part belongs.
