radiant includes if/unless_[first|last] tags:
r:unless_last,/r:unless_last

you can find out about all the tags available
and how to use them from the Available Tags
link on the edit pages.

nope it doesn't work inside the gallery tags

 that should work. i don't anything about gallery so maybe it won't work
 inside the gallery tags.
