Hola Gabriela,
this doesn't seem like a Hacker attack to me...
The packet came from 200.16.169.56. Is that one of your NAS?
I guess so... as Radiator didn't ignore the request, it must have come from
one of your listed Clients.
BTW, the reverse of that address points to
Hello Gabriela -
I am not certain that what you show below is due to a hacker - you often see
things like this with modems that do not train properly when receiving a call.
In any case, with Radiator 2.19 you can use the new UsernameCharset
parameter to limit what characters you will accept
Hello Ben -
I would start by checking a trace 4 debug from Radiator to see what sort of
response times you are getting for your SQL queries, then I would look at the
indexes on the database tables and perhaps add/adjust as neccessary.
I would also check what other processing is occuring on
Hi All,
I am a Radiator newbie and am wondering if somebody can provide me with some
insight into the SNMP Agent.
I have enabled the agent in my config file with a community other than
'public'.
However, my 'logfile' keeps filling up with;
WARNING: SNMPAgent: wrong community: 'public'. Request
Hello Andrew -
I suspect there is some SNMP program on your Radiator host that is sending
SNMP requests that Radiator is rejecting because the community strings are
different.
To say any more, I will need to see a copy of the configuration file and a
trace 4 debug showing what is going on.
Hello Jorge -
The usual cause of problems with IP address pools is lost or non-existent
radius accounting stop messages. You don't really show enough in the logfile
below to know what has happened prior to the requests being rejected.
And I'll have to get back to you on the SQL problem.
