changing the definition in the dictionary the best we can do?
Thanks!

Hello Doug -
This is actually a NAS problem, due to a recent upgrade to the CVX
software.
The Acct-Session-Id is defined as a string (check the RFC), and the CVX

Greetings,
I recall a while back there was some talk of a super-secret project
regarding reliable accounting for Radius. Has anything come of this? There's
still demand for it!
Thanks!

Sadly, at this point in time reliable accounting for Radius is a
contradiction in terms, due to the use of UDP for one thing and the odd NAS

So will I be successful at having all 3 radius servers
auth out of the same DB? with start/stop packets
timebanking Or would proxying to a single radius
which does all auth againist the db be the best way to
go?

Was wanting to setup 3 Radius servers each on its own
network for redundant reasons. Whats the best solution
for this? And how would Accounting packets be handled
if they are being round robined to the three servers?
Do i need a Central server do hold all this Accounting
info? Accounting Database
I am building a new server to run Radiator on. I have everything
installed correctly but I am forgetting a Perl program that was needed
for proper date format what was it.

Ipswitch has documented how to monitor most radius servers.. it worked ok
for us until we changed to a better monitoring product..

Hello Doug -
Has anyone had any problems connecting 2 Radiator servers (using
AuthByEmerald) to the same DBI::ProxyServer server? The second client seems
to have when connecting to the database. They're set up the same way, with
the same configs
appear to run quickly and correctly, and I've been very pleased so far.

I have converted my Radius system from AuthbyFile
to AuthbySQL.
Have it up and running correctly but I am using
clear text passwords. I would like to convert these to some sort of md5
encryption. I can get mysql to save the password in md5 encryption.
But I can't get radiator to
I made a short how-to on how to get a unix machine connected to a SQL server using all
free software, and it seems to be working great. This is a little more updated than
the one in the FAQ, and describes better how to install the needed modules, as well as
has a test script.. Thanks for a

so that looks out of the picture.
Looks like I'll be trying to get DBD:Proxy going, regardless of whether it's
easy or not. =)
Thanks for the time..
