Hi Hugh,
I have this in the users file.
user Time = Al2300-0800, Simultaneous-Use = 1
Session-Timeout = "until Time"
When this user connects at 08:00:14, I get this error.
Sat Mar 17 08:00:14 2001: ERR: There is no value named -14 for attribute
Session-Timeout. Using 0.
Hello
I tried to use/configure MPPE but it did not work. I inserted
into the radius.cfg file something like:
Realm DEFAULT
...
AuthBy SQL
...
AddToReply Port-Message= "You are connected to ...",
MS-MPPE-Send-Key = mysendkey,
Ahh, I see. Sorry I didn't think of that.
Would I be correct in assessing this AuthBy GROUP as behaving sort of like a
quasi-Handler? It seems that it offers some Handler-like control...
Thanks!
Dave

Hello,
I wonder if it is possible to use a default value for an accounting field. I
would require this to keep track of the Calling-Station-Id value, which does
not always get transmitted to us by the telco. Specifically, the telco does
not transmit it, when a customer uses the ISDN
Hello all,
I have a Cisco router sending a tunnel-password attribute being sent to
radiator unencrypted, and radiator is sending it back encrypted. The Cisco
is not accepting this and is denying access based on the encrypted string.
Can anyone tell me where I can set the response
Hello Dave -
As the name implies, AuthBy GROUP is an AuthBy clause, not a Handler.
They are mainly used for chaining multiple AuthBy clauses and tagged
with an Identifier for use in Realms or Handlers.

Hello Olaf -
Could you please provide more detail on the problem, and send me a
trace 4 debug from Radiator showing what is happening. Could you also
tell me what version of Radiator you are running and on what
hardware/sofware platform.
thanks

Hello Larry -
As you can see from the accounting records, the Connect-Info
attribute is not present in the records. You would need to check a
trace 4 debug from Radiator to verify the packet contents, but if the
data is not present you will have to ask your provider to fix the
problem on
Hello Robert -
The simplest thing is probably to use a PreAuthHook to add the
attribute if it is not present in the request. There are some example
hooks in the Radiator 2.18 distribution in the file
"goodies/hooks.txt".
