Hello all,
how can i get logs of DEBUG level WITHOUT packet dump?
my LOG clause is:
Log FILE
Filename %L/%Y/%m/AC-Logfile-%Y%m%d
LogFormat %Y%m%d%H%M%S.%N %1: %2
Identifier LogLab
Trace 4
/Log
on radiator 2.18, with the same log clause i got debugs messages but
not the packet dump.
Hello Jesus -
Yes this has changed - now a trace 4 will always give the packet dumps.
Why is this a problem?
regards
Hugh

Dear sir,
A few days ago I had received the 'Radiator' for testing it
from 'Encotone Ltd' in Jerusalem.
I'm using a very small database with TeleID (smartcard) users and
the file 'users' for those without TeleID. In this way,
the radiator is working perfectly.
Now I'm trying to merge between
Hi.
We have just purchased Radiator 3.0.
After evaluating 2.19 I installed ver 3.0 with no problems.
I am running Radiator on SunOS 5.8, Database is MS SQL Server 2000 on a
windows 2000 Server, and Im using Easysoft ODBC - ODBC Bridge. All database
activity works fine till now including

Is there a way to make radiator look at an additional field to see if
the account is in a suspended or valid state. For instance, I have a
postgres database with the following fields:

Table subscribers
Attribute | Type | Modifier

I'm not sureI looked in the AuthLog FILE section of the
manual before, and didn't really see a way to do it. On mine, if they
fail, it just gives the reason of No such user. This is because of
the AuthByPolicy I am using. Radiator inserts into the log the reason
it gets from the
Hello Joseph -
I will need to see a trace 4 debug from Radiator to say for sure, but it
sounds like you are receiving a radius request from a user without a realm
(ie. no @.).

Hello Lull -
This is usually a NAS configuration issue. You should check with your
vendors, and also check the Radiator FAQ and the mailing list archive.

Hello George -
I will need to see a trace 4 debug from Radiator to tell for sure, but it
sounds like the column that is defined in the database for the log messages
is too small to cope with the debug messages plus the packet dumps.

Hello Tuvia -
You would do something like this:
# define AuthBy clauses
AuthBy PAM
Identifier CheckTeleID
.
/AuthBy
AuthBy FILE
Identifier CheckUsers
Filename %D/users
NoDefaultIfFound
.
/AuthBy
# define Realm(s) or Handler(s)
Realm
I would recommend that the installation procedure have
MD4 listed as one of the recommended modules. After
experiencing the same thing as many others here (being
paged after all radius servers kept crashing at 3:00
AM), I found the same thing they did ... missing
Digest::MD4.

Hello All,
for those of you familiar with the process of downloading and installing
patches for Radiator there are some changes to the layout of the patch
tarball.
Previously, all the files in the tarball unpacked into the current directory,

Hi,
I have a working setup that authenticates against NIS+.
Now I have a new NAS that has support software which stores
NAS reply items in LDAP. Problem is that I cannot keep
up-to-date user/password information in LDAP. So what I'd
