(RADIATOR) FailureBackoffTime within AuthBy SQLRADIUS
Hi Within the AuthBy SQLRADIUS clause we can define the FailureBackoffTime for the database connection. In the Hostselect statement we can define the number of the reties and the timeout, the FailureBackoffTime is missing in the hostselection. We prefer to the declare HOST1 dead for a periode if it is not working and use of HOST2.can we usethe sameFailureBackoffTime to reach this goal? ( FailureBackoffTime is present in AuthBy RADIUS how can we use the option in the AuthBy SQLRADIUS clause ?) # AuthBy SQLRADIUSIdentifier ProxyToOfficeFailureBackoffTime 60 DBSourcedbi:mysql:ProxyDBDBUsernamerootDBAuthHostSelect select HOST%0, SECRET, AUTHPORT, ACCTPORT, RETRIES, RETRYTIMEOUT, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, \FAILUREPOLICY from RADSQLRADIUS where TARGETNAME='%R'StripFromRequest Cisco-NAS-Port, \ NAS-Port, \ NAS-Port-Type, \NAS-IP-Address, \ Called-Station-Id, \ Calling-Station-IdAddToRequest Service-Class = %{Reply:Service-Class} AllowInReply Service-Type, \Framed-Protocol, \ Framed-IP-Netmask, \Framed-IP-Address, \Ascend-Client-Primary-DNS, \Ascend-Client-Secondary-DNS, \Loopback-Tag, \Release-Name, \VRF-Tag AddToReply Loopback-Tag= %{Reply:Loopback-Tag}, \VRF-Tag= %{Reply:VRF-Tag}, \Release-Name= %{Reply:Release-Name}ReplyHook file:"%D/reply.pl"/AuthBy ## with kind regards Mohamed Majdoubi KPN Telecom
RE: (RADIATOR) Request feature: DictionaryFileList
I like this idea. I'd much rather have all my custom dictionary entries in a separate, concise file. I normally use the standard latest dictionary file included in Radiator, but many times, I have to add a couple of attributes either from one of the other dictionaries or other vendor-specific that we develop for custom applications (yes we do have and use our own public vendor number). It'd be nice if I could specify more than one file in DictionaryFile and that the actual dictionary be made from the concatenation of those files like: DictionaryFileList ./dictionary ./dictionary.local ./dictionary.redback In fact, that would allow you to decouple all the specialized dictionaries erasing all the common attributes and values... Re: Fwd: (RADIATOR) Request feature: DictionaryFileList
Hi All, Some good ideas here. We have now uploaded patches for radiusd, radpwtst and RDict.pm that allows you to specifiy multiple comma-separated dictionary files, like: radpwtst -dictionary dict1,dict2 radiusd -dictionary_file dict1,dict2 or in radiator config DictionaryFile %D/dictionary,%D/site.dictionary Hope that helps. Cheers. Re: Fwd: (RADIATOR) Request feature: DictionaryFileList
Hi Andrew, On Wed, 18 Sep 2002 11:06, Andrew Brooker wrote: Yeah awesome feature, though how does Radiusd determine which dictionary file to use? For example, just recently we had to remove a radius attribute from the dictionary. With this new feature would Radiusd be able to determine this dictionary (with the invalid radius attribute) was not right and try the next one (where I would have that Radius attribute removed)? Actually, no. It attempts to open and parse _all_ the named files. If any named file fails to open, then the entire dictionary load fails, resulting in a 'die'. Cheers. Re: (RADIATOR) GUI
Hello Murugan - There is a simple CGI script in the distribution called goodies/radconfig.cgi, but most people (myself included) tend to prefer using a simple text editor for the configuration file. If you are after a graphical monitoring tool, you should look at our companion product called Radar. http://www.open.com.au/radar regards Hugh On Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at 01:40 PM, MURUGAN V V wrote: Hi, I am using the evaluation version of Radiator- RADIUS Server. (RADIATOR) maximum number of client supported for Radiator
hi, Is there any restrictions for maximum number of client supported for Radiator. can I configure Radiator for authenticating form ODBC (oracle) Windows domain flat file at the same time. I mean - some user has to validate from Oracle table, some form file, some user from windows domain- at the same time. Please do reply, Murugan. === Archive at http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator/ Announcements on [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, email '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' with 'unsubscribe radiator' in the body of the message.
Re: (RADIATOR) maximum number of client supported for Radiator
Hello Murugan - No there are no limits to the number of clients supported by Radiator. Yes you can configure ODBC, Windows domain and flat file at the same time. There are many example configuration files in the goodies directory of the distribution, and you should also read the reference manual found in doc/ref.html. There is also an excellent source of questions and answers in the FAQ found in doc/faq.html and on the Radiator mailing list archive. http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator regards Hugh On Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at 02:54 PM, MURUGAN V V wrote: hi, Is there any restrictions for maximum number of client supported for Radiator. can I configure Radiator for authenticating form ODBC (oracle) Windows domain flat file at the same time.
