Hi,
2009/12/1 jrichardson
jrichardson.42iyan1259685...@no-mx.forums.slimdevices.com:
Are you connected to MySB.com or a local SqueezeBox Server?
Last time I checked I was using the local Squeezebox server. (7.5.0)

I am running 7.3.3 SqueezeCenter. I always hesitate to upgrade because
I have to apply the patch to sort albums on the SqueezeBox by year (for
some odd reason the software people will not add this simple
functionality). I hope to continue to be able to use SqueezeCenter 3.3
and was wondering if

a...@slimdevices.com (the one the bug is assigned to) must just not
want that patch applied. Justin Fletcher has had the patch since 2006
and has updated. There have been 8 versions so far. He keeps updating
it to work in the latest version, people want it included, but Andy (or

Well that sucks. I guess I will just hold off on the Radio until

Hi all,
So I just got my SB Radio last night, I bought it almost exclusively
because I wanted a nifty and complex alarm clock that could play nice
mp3s in the morning.
I set up some alarms yesterday, the first alarm was set to 'song mix'
and I had scanned my MP3 collection which is composed of
Random song works like this , the server creates a randomized playlist
thats all.
So If you snooze it pauses at the current song and continue at the same
place later.
Hmm a function to randomize a new playlist on snooze or shuffle the
current playlist would be what you want ?
Nice idea
I honestly can't believe there isn't an option to just shuffle through
the playlist... seriously? That is beyond me... every player in
existence has supported a shuffle feature.. and not this advanced radio?
cmon... that's ridiculous! Absurd! Just unbelievable...
I have no words...

There is absolutely a shuffle function , but not with the help of snooze
during an alarm situation , which what was you asked.
Please read my post again.
In general there are shuffle on most remotes and in the controller, and
you have a shuffle button in the WEB-UI .
I have a boom so I dont
