Magic, and also a big thankyou from me as well. Logitech Oz wont even
bring in the radio to this country. But I now have both and it is a
great addition.

Well, there are enough bug reports for all of the issues, but the most
basic issues are of course the completely broken alarm functionality
and the fact, that even switching the crooked thing off doesn't work in
4 of 5 cases.
There are dozens of less important design flaws and bugs, bad interface
So, this had become the frustration thread
Well, I generally like my radio.
What I don't like:
- Slow user interface, even with own server
- lack of customization (as said before)
- alarm not as solid enough to trust it entirely (always have a mobile
ready)
- small fonts for the time

I don't really understand why Winamp 5 does scan my entire library

the album art is literally taking ages to display. Even for the same

I have unselected the Charging option in Sound Effects, but the chimes
still play at power on and power off. I've unselected all Sound
Effects, in fact. Using 7.5.1. Any suggestions?

You are still getting navigation beeps with:
Radio Settings Audio Sound Effects
Aha! I had turned off *all* sound effects, including None! Seems like
that shouldn't be possible, but it is. Now all is silent. Thanks!

Does anyone know if Squeezebox Radio will ever support MMS format?
I doubt since it is a MS deprecated format and MS has stopped
supporting it since 2008 and WMP 11.

Well, you are selecting which Sound Effects you want. Selecting None
de-selects all of the sound effect categories.

Some of us running exclusively off of MySB.com have a boatload of
issues, so the issues may not be firmware related but

So you are selecting None. :)
That would be logical, yes. But what I had in fact done was uncheck,
deselect, all of the options, including the None

And lastly... If I could create folders and save into them directly
from the radio that would be awesome. I do it using my PC and
Radiotime, but ugh what a hassle.
What is it you want to save into the folders? Do you mean your
favorites on mysqueezebox.com? If so,

What's not working for you? I've had a couple of alarm quircks, but
otherwise have been happy with my Radio. Certainly the most basic
stuff has been solid for me since day one. (Maybe we define basic
stuff differently.)
My pre-sets randomly disappear - I have reset
