I've restarted the computer, but it's possible. Why do you ask?
Possibly the computer was given a different IP address after restart,
your Radio is looking for the old IP of the SBS server.

I run Squeezebox Server on a Thecus N5200 Pro that is on 24/7. For me
the alarm has worked correctly probably around 70% of the time, the
other 30% of the time it plays the extremely irritating default noise.
This morning for the first time ever, the alarm simply failed to go
off.

Indeed I don't count the times when the alarm failed partly or
completely any more. It's much simpler to count the times when it
worked more or less ok. It's not like I need more than the fingers on
one hand to count that in the last month(s). Honestly I can't remember
when it worked completely
Tried that -- no luck. I ended up resetting the Radio to its factory
settings, and then it finally started working. Ugh, what a painful
process. Anyway, thanks again for your help.

I noticed that you've 'lost' your Squeezebox receiver somewhere, and
your controller can't find it. ... I've done the same thing, I think
... somehow in the remote player, I've managed to make it think I want
to play through my computer, and not my receiver ... I didn't want to
do that, but now I
I'm not sure you're describing the same problem I had. But I solved mine
by resetting the Squeezebox Radio to the factory defaults, then
connecting it to the wireless network again from scratch.
