IMO both parties are at fault.
Logitech was getting away without being an official ShoutCast partner
for many years. Kind of like getting cable TV ch's you are not paying
for.
The right thing to do is call the provider and tell them of their

Yep. I was pretty much fed up with ShoutCast even before it was
dropped. It became an endless game of refreshing the favourites since
their URLs kept changing. I ended up using

So this is why shoutcast no longer works. Just great. I'm not blaming
Squeezebox at all here.
Once upon a time shoutcast was a beacon of freedom on the net. Now, I
go there and I can't even get an external player to come up..I just get
a crappy flash player. This is not acceptable.
