A paused player can sometimes restart i've noticed but it does happen
very rarely , so on interfaces where there is stop I stop the players
instead of pausing them , otherwise i whipe they now playing playlist if
i'm leaving home for a vacations and longer trips .

Re Raspberry Pi: the plan is to use it as a NAS and not run a whole

Thera are some plugins for spotify bbc and a choice of others that runs
on a local server .
But most apps will be gone if mysqueezebox.com turns off .
