A paused player can sometimes restart i've noticed but it does happen very rarely , so on interfaces where there is stop I stop the players instead of pausing them , otherwise i whipe they now playing playlist if i'm leaving home for a vacations and longer trips . The Power On Resume settings

So, once the firmware is installed, the radio doesn't need to be 'diverted' to the new location(via the symlink) at boot-up? Re Raspberry Pi: the plan is to use it as a NAS and not run a whole computer all the time. ~DK

And some of the web radio too mherger made large chunks of the Tune-in stuff local in the 7.8 server beta . Thera are some plugins for spotify bbc and a choice of others that runs on a local server . But most apps will be gone if mysqueezebox.com turns off .
