FYI, I did a test where I did a factory reset and set up networking with my SSID not hidden, and everything worked as expected. Updated the bug report with the new info. Seems to clearly indicate that the hidden SSID on initial networking setup was what triggered the bug. -- kmr

At best a hidden SSID will make a hacker go for another network than yours. They can find out the SSID as easy as they can clone your MAC Address. At worst your neighbourghs will not know that you are ocupying a channel. My Duets had some trouble when I was hiding my SSID. Using WPA. --
