I thought the whole idea of the thread was to do the connection *without* a PC involved. If you take a laptop with you then you don't need the Squeezebox, you might as well just stream from the laptop. LMS Version: 7.9 TranquilPC T2-WHS-A3 - WHS 2011 2x Touch, 3x SB3

I do appreciate all the responses - and - Bronze - yes that's it, to get the radio to work without taking a laptop. It's really me wondering if I had just missed that something - a plugin that existed that allowed you to do this? I'm not sure how many people have such a use, but it happened

I think I already know the answer to this, but I'd be interested in others experience or ideas! I'm sure you have used internet services in a hotel, the cloud, or similar where you have an open wifi connection, but just need to accept the TsCs or enter a password, so you can use your iphone, pc

If you do not have access to a hard wired ethernet connection (wifi only), you could also check out the Connectify application. This lets you share a wifi connection with just one wifi card. There's a free and paid version available. I would go for the paid as the free has restrictions which
