The first bug is not subtle -- its simple. The fade-in doesn't work if
your last played station is your alarm station.

So if your alarm goes off and you simply turn off the alarm and dont'
play anything else. The next morning, the fade-in doesn't work.

Because thats the only way (besides calling support and writing in this
forum) to get attention to it in the hope to get it fixed again.

Or do you have any better idea (which will result in faster changes to
this issue ?)

Agree with this - my wife is ready to trash this unit because of this
bug.

Why do we need to vote for a bug that worked fine until Logitech
auto-upgraded the firmware?

Mpfff - today was the day :(
When you don't listen to anything else on the day unfortunately the
playlist always contains the alarm-tune leading to this bug on the next
day.

Now I'm thinking of scheduling two alarms (mo/we/fr vs tue/thu) with
two different radio stations. Then on mondays I'll still have the
problem.

So three radio stations (mo/we vs. tue/thu vs. fr) would solve it.
Or going back to 7.4.2.

Do you not have a thousand votes available for every Squeezebox product
available?

Surely you're not likely to run out are you!? :)

Well, I don't like to wake up with a heart attack but don't usually set
my alarm clock around midnight. ;)

But both of them are quite annoying, given all of this was working in
the 7.41 firmware ..

The first bug sounds fairly subtle, but the second one is much more
