Hi all, I have the opportunity to buy a used 59 cm Hilsen. I'm 5' 9
1/2 with a pbh of 85cm.According to Riv's fit chart a 59cm is the
right size for me, but the s.o. is 85 cm -not much clearance if any.
Is anyone out there about my size riding a 59cm? If so how does it
fit?
Thanks, Ken

Looking forward to my pariI mean pair.
I checked out the prototype 1 on the shelf at Riv-HQ yesterday, and
the tread was CRAZY thin. I'm glad Kirk put a little bit more meat on
them.
I guess I should buy that Bomba to accept these tires, too.

I would not worry about stand over so much as being able to get the
right leg extension handle bar reach with your preferred set up.
For instance if you want drops slightly below seat level, will you be
bending and reaching in a way that matches your preference and fitness
level.
If all is well
I'm 5'11 with an 87.5 PBH. I've got a 59 AHH and maybe could have gone
one bigger (Jay recommended a 61 first, and 59 second). I have about an
inch or two depending on shoes and tires. I don't care about standover on
the roadish bikes (at least haven't had a reason to yet). I like riding a

I've installed the SRAM levers on my Quickbeam and they are really
nice. They are just a bit wider (comfortably so IMHO) than Ultegra 9-

braking more comfortable for me. The one thing I don't really like is

Do any of you have any experience or comments about the saris Thelma
bicycle car rack? Especially interested in comparaing it against a
Thule model that places wheels into trays and secures with ratcheting

thanks guys, i'm really enjoying it so far :)

Easy to set up, good modulation, good stopping power; they are awesome

I agree with your assessment of the Tektro's being kinda wimpy, esp in
the rear. I was going to experiment with a different pad on my orange

Hi,
I am running IRC Mythos XC Slick 42mm tires on my Sam, and am looking
for a dual purpose tire that leans a little more towards paved road
performance (let's say 75% road use, 25% dirt, but with some technical
stuff). The Mythos Slick is anything but slick. The center knobbies
are shorter, but
