That's what can happen when go on tour. People are intrigued by
someone on a bike who's obviously traveling some distance. Being on a
bike you are approachable & voila, start of conversation. It's a
bunch of fun. Manny, it sounds like you had such a great time, my

Joel,
Without dragging this discussion too much further, one comment I'd
make pertaining to the item that the seller is offering on eBay is
that it's not the same as the current Brooks B.17 models. The

Calling all Bay Area members of the RBW Owners Bunch. I am selling my

I've sold a number of items on eBay over the years. In some instances
my items sold for considerably more than I'd paid for them
originally. The eBay market is a contract between the Seller and the
Buyer, if the Buyer wants something enough to pay for it, whatever the
price, whose problem is that

If anyone finds scratches from these types of supports, check the
"rubbery stuff". It wears & gets torn. Tool dip is a rubbery stuff
in a can that can be used to re-coat the surfaces that touch the
bike.

If you do go with a 1x8 or 1x9 set up, do not forget a chain keeper.
Couple of chain slips on solo rides and your wife will likely park the
Foy forever.
Paul makes a nice one, but there are others on the market:
