This was perhaps the most fun ride I have ever done. I looked on the
OSM bike map for the area and discovered that the creek intersects a
major road 6 km farther upstream, so perhaps we'll try to ride up the
creek all the way next time, but I'll think I'll switch to the Fisher
with its 50mm tires
What strikes me most is how the car driver is never, ever at fault.
Might is right...

Looks sweet with the red Hetres, what size fenders are those? They look
really close to the bridge on the top of those brakes so not sure if you
could run anything bigger or something in metal that isnt as giving as the
chromoplastic.

Yes, they are close to bridge and they droop forward some too probably due to
the old daruma I'm playing with. I found the daruma on an old set of fenders a
friend used on PBP in 1991. I will re-rivet the angle bracket back on soon. I
think they are P55 originally used with 26x1.5 and later

Thomas,
Beautiful set up, just oozes sweet comfort and ride-ability. Wouldn't it ride
even better with its HEADBADGE?

March came in with a roar here in Chicago with the delivery of a new-to-me

on a few bits. Love it!

Congratulations, Marty. Good photos to be proud of for a long time. I
know you will love it. The Albatross bars will be great for single speed
or fixed. Nice packing job by Mike, too. Enjoy.

I often wonder if Grant were to design the Atlantis now instead of
1998ish if he would use 650B over 26.

Sweet - what size is that? A 66cm? Perfect for Chicago! And I like your
simple bike stand, I've been hankering to put together something similar,
with basic black pipe and a cam-lock on a swivel plate.

I have a 64cm road bike and I just made the mistake of weighing it. 35 lbs.
THIRTY. FIVE.
It seems astronomical but is it? It's not like I have a dutch city bike
