I used the Brand V handlebar bag to carry rain gear and other small items while riding RAGBRAI this year. I had to make longer straps in order to make the bag ride level with the handlebars. The bag is stiff enough to keep it's shape and I have never had a problem with it drooping or sagging.

Does anyone have experience using this bag? Think about getting one for my protovelo and don't want to put a front rack on it. Is it stable enough with just the webbing straps for a small load? Does is constantly droop down or stay pretty level? Obviously a very heavy load couldn't be supported.
