Test rode one of the prototypes a couple of weeks ago. We had a tandem
years ago so I have a bit of experience there. With the chubby rubber it
floats over rough patches. I think Riv has hit another winner. All of

When I was going to use the P&S on my Bomba the plan was to use Tubus hardware.
The mounts fit in the slots meant for the bracket and a custom bend for the
stays to the fork crown.
Hardware something like this:

Thomas, nice and great idea ! Those Surly kits seem very very versatile for
any rack with round tubes. I have always wondered, is the diameter of the
Surly rods the same as the Nitto ?

Just reserved mine. I've never ridden a tandem but right now it's the best
chance at getting my wife to perhaps start riding with me a little bit. My
son will go to college next Fall, but perhaps we'll get to share it
together before he goes and when he comes home. My oldest daughter starts

Sean, sorry to take so long, but I was on an overnighter here in Va. (Yes, I

The captain definitely needs to be able to stand solidly with both feet on
the ground. The stoker need not be able to straddle. If their legs are
too short for the little ones, then you can get crank shorteners that will
allow you to get an extra inch or two higher in terms of legs being able to

What a gift to get to ride to the top of Lovell Gulch and then down the single

My Bro in law has two of these and it is interesting to note the short stem
extensions...definitely the opposite philosophy of RBW.
Makes sense to use the shortest stem possible for ultimate upright riding.

I hope RBW can introduce a lot of people to the pleasures of riding a
tandem. It looks like a fun bike to ride. The price is extraordinary, but
as for me, I will stick with my filet braised custom Bilenky touring tandem

I'm not sure if that would be an option for the P&S. The included bracket
to fork crown works significantly better than any other fork crown bracket
I've ever used. That being said, it should be pretty easy to use Nitto rack
attachments to attach to the top of crown mounts - I'm intending on try

it on the wall and await he growth of my children.
However, that standover on the smallest size is just about .5 to 1.0" too
much for me to even possibly straddle, which, on a tandem, seems important.

I've had a number of window shoppers but no takers so I've decided to keep
the SaddleSack I'd posted several days ago for sale. I've decided to use
it on a different bike. Thanks everyone for looking.

The preorder for the Rivendell Hubbuhubbuh tandem is now live. Link and
