Thanks for posting, Bob! Guessing that's a 90 or 100 stem. Most obvious comparison is likely the largest Ahearne+Map bar at 610 wide and a 25mm rise. It appears the wavie has some rise to it, too. Looks like the wavie will have more room for shifting your hands around, compared to A+M.

That depends on whether Neil's looking for road/drop-bar brifters or mountain/flatbar brifters. A Travel Agent converter will adapt short-pull road levers to long-pull V-brakes. They're clunky looking, but they work; you can probably find a pair for under $20. Alternately, if Neil's interested
