Mine looks similar but worse. You can especially see the marks in the
reflection on my hand and on the white sheet. Looking directly, they are hard
to see.

Just curious, what size is that frame? A 60? I had a 60cm Ram and regretted
selling it starting the day I shipped it. I have a Roadeo, but I still wish

Congratulations on the clementine L! It looks like a most awesome bike and
nearly everyone who has one loves it.
For the pitting, imagine pin marks (pricks) all over mirror. The mirror is
silver and the pricks are dark grey, the same color as the road, so makes it
harder to see.
Hi all, I'm putting my Sam up for sale to see if there's any interest. I like
the bike, but it's my least ridden, and I'm outta room/money in the bike shed...
I was thinking of a "rolling chassis" sale: the usual frame & fork, headset (a
Campy, in this case), bottom bracket, and seatpost,
Ditto on the pitting question. I've used the German mirror on two of my
Rivs for the past 4-5 years and they're still in fine condition.

I would also look for small cracks around the pedal "eye" on the crank.
Might just look like road grime but could be hiding a crack that flexes as
pressure is applied. Unlikely but a possiblity.

I 2nd maybe pulling the BB - I've had this issue on a recently installed
UN-55 on my Ram (and Trek 520) - the cup/BB interface is prone to creaking
if it isn't given a good layer of tenacious oil. Bearing grease wears away
i've found at which time the creaking comes back. You can also "feel"
