I recently watched Thelma & Louise and noticed Louise's 1966 Thunderbird is
pretty much a perfect match to my mermaid Appaloosa.
That is all.

Oh, I think this totally counts, especially since there were bears and
fly-fishing involved!
While it is certainly cool to see photos of Rivs in exotic, faraway places,

I replaced, sort of, my 2005 Surly LHT with a 2011 Waterford Canti-Sam. I
rode up and down the West coast and then across the USA on the Surly. I got
the Sam as a Country Bike to complement the LHT (this was to remain my
loaded touring bike).
The Sam ended up being my dedicated touring bike almo
Rhyno Lites for me also. Mavic A719/T519's have also been flawless over
hilly, rocky, rutty, and overall primitive local back roads. I have a set
of Alex DM24 wheels I have not used, but I'm sure they'll be good also. Of
course, the quality of the build has much to do with the qualifying a rim.
My bad, I misunderstood the situation.

I have a 60 cm Platypus. Previous Homer (from many years ago) in 59 fit me
well. Same with Hillborne in 55 (current canti version) that I’ve ridden.
Current Homer, I’m not sure, but I think 54.5. I’m 5’10” with 85-86 PBH and
like saddle height of about 76. So the 51’s would be too small for me.
I’m still so floored about that grip removal hack, especially after watching
that video. Makes it look like a piece of cake!
If you have a project that needs a million staples such as building a
wire-caged veggie garden, an air stapler is indispensable.

You need to look at PBH sizing and effective toptube numbers to find your
size in Sam and Homer, the seattubes will now be in the 51cm range for you.
Great bikes which will cover your needs well, plus I would consider the
Platypus if you want low stepover and canti/v-brakes in a road-ish frame.
#1 - Canti/V- braked Sam
#2 - Centerpull/sidepull Sam

I personally am done with long-reach sidepulls like the Silver/Tektro R559 for
reasons that have been discussed fairly extensively in prior threads, so that
narrows it down quite a bit. Maybe a canti-Rom or Heron touring? I also

Hey channel!
I'm putting together a poll of sorts of the people's pick for a rim brake
rim that handles abuse really well. This past gravel event had me wincing
going through rocky creek beds at speed on my 24h dainty road rims. Plus,
after mounting, and remounting a pair of tubeless tires, it

I'll Play !
Every "so often" I'll use the air compressor, outside with some cardboard
slid between the bike and chain, and literally "clean" the chain that way.
Spin the chain backwards and hold the spray nozzle right up close to the
chain. Wipe, repeat as necessary. I consider this a "deep cl
