Yes, Keith, excellent input, and I appreciate you taking the time to share this. To your first point, one's specific address is not necessary and, I agee, should be shared cautiously. A random address in your area or even just city/town and state are enough as I have learned. Including a

I don't follow the beef with GP, but this is the procedure to get a front Tektro 559 opened up as wide as possible without tools on a bike of that type 1. Set the brake lever adjusting barrel and lockring as far in as possible but with the cable exit slots all lined up with the exit slot in

I always liked those Rosco's. I remember the matte green one RBW posted on their website and then there was a darker green one that had a horizontal second top tube and was taller and shorter (55.5 ST & 600 ETT). The darker one also had canti posts. I REALLY liked that one. [image: Rosco

The tire should clear just fine without resorting to addition doohickeys or pads Michael. It's make to clear wide road tires. I happened to run across this video today, and his 559 caliper clears a 44mm Compass tires without rubbing. https://youtu.be/vGnNkQJz-Fk?t=465 Again, your mtb brake

I was going to suggest thinner brake pads also. At some point, the brake will only open so far and extra slack in the cable will not help. I run a Tektro 559 on the rear of my Betty Foy and a Dia-Compe 610 center pull on the front. I have a Dia-Compe Quick release hanger for the center pull on

1st cleaning is in mineral spirits in a glass jar set in the water. For a used chain I would usually do this twice, after letting the chain soak in the mineral spirits over night. I use Ball wide mouth canning jars. The ultrasonic cleaner came with a holder that is the perfect size for these.
