I really like my big Pelago rack which…I’d send a pic but it’s between bikes. But I’d recommend this one as well. On Apr 11, 2023, at 19:11, Keith Paugh wrote:I have a Sim Works Obento under my 139 Half basket. It has a slightly wider footprint than the other racks I researched, and has been
I have a Sim Works Obento under my 139 Half basket. It has a slightly wider footprint than the other racks I researched, and has been fantastic.Very stable & light. I’ve been really pleased. That being said, if I was going to do it again (and might do anyway), I think I’d get a Pass & Stow rack.I
Looking for this in black if possible, or something comparable if anyone
has one they're looking to off load.
Thanks!

I haven't seen tha, but looking at it, I think it may be too small ...
the platform is 9.5" long so the 139 would hang 3.5" off the front .
Definitely keeping weight in mind and also surface area below the basket.
I suspect something both wider and longer would be best.
On Tuesday,
Have you considered a “Soma Lucas 3”? Approx. $60 I believe. Comes in black and silver. I have one and use it with a 137 and like it a lot. Might work well with a 139. Do keep the amount of weight you might want to carry (for safety) in mind though. NickSent from my iPadOn Apr 11, 2023, at

I'm interested in racking my Wald 139 big basket and am curious what ppl
are using for a rack.
I just got an email that the basket rack is back in stock at RBW, and I'm
considering just buying it but I'm really just not onboard with spending
$288 on a front rack despite how well it's
Thanks Bones, that's an awesome photo, love it! I have no idea how you
manage to mount the bike, I'm very flexible but I don't know how I'd do it.
We hope to have another one down the line (first one has to get here
first!) but at that point maybe we could transition the older one to a
Hi, Slin - did you need to use a derailleur extender with the 13-42
cassette? If not curious how well the front 24 and rear 42 work together.
Maybe this has more to do with what a particular RD can handle/wrap.
Thanks,
Scott

I commuted on beaters; nice beaters but not Rivendells. Commuting was the

DavidP, Thanks for sharing that bit from Grant. Makes sense to me and seems
a little more reasonable than 'seven is good'.
Piaw, A broken frame seems a great reason to own a second bike, and this is
exactly what prompted me to add the Atlantis to my already special Hunq. My

I lived for many years with one road bike, and I think it was great. Having
fewer decisions as to which bike to ride was great, and I perversely enjoy
wearing out tires and chains at a good clip --- makes me feel like I'm a
real cyclist. I did break the frame twice, and each time it kinda sucked
Ted, nice picture of your bike and the lighthouse. Which one is that? I'll
be on the upper Cape in the beginning of July. Always enjoy the riding
there.

Thanks again for all the kind words. Please join me for CyclingSavvy

bike sessions are usually in Charlotte, NC. Occasionally I teach in other
locations. A friend is asking me to teach again in Key West sometime. Let

Good price, you'll sell 'em easily.

They're yours! I'll get those packed up now. I'll probably just use a
flat-rate box so shipping will be $16. If that works for you, payment can
be sent via PayPal to andyreedturner@gmail along with shipping info.
