Kim, The photo shows how Riv arranged the cable housing guide braze-on on this bike, a Rosco Platypus. The entire housing slides through the braze-on and the end of the housing slips into the entrance of the noodle. It isn’t really necessary but I also slipped a short length of clear tubing
