That is a great looking QB. I second the Pauls neos' as brilliant brakes with tektro and suntour aero levers. I use them front and rear. Also pad choice and placement are a lot more critical than you might think and I would play around with that a bit too. On Thursday, May 3, 2012

[RBW] Re: Was your RIV sizing right on?

I would listen to Rivendell. I made the mistake of getting my first Rivendell on the small side against their recommendation. A couple of years later I ordered the larger frame and have been a whole lot happier with it. I blame it on me having a Fit Kit certification and 10 years experience

Peter, Have you by chance check to see if the bb spindle is asymmetric- You don't have enough space between the crank and the frame. Maybe you can flip the bb spindle and fix that problem easy peasy. You need a nickels width between the the crank spider if you are just running one ring. Jim

Hey Rivsters- How are you all shipping bikes (conus)? I just looked up prices on UPS and FedEX and they were both in the range of 160 bucks. Geeze where have I been over the years, the last time I shipped a bike it cost 40.00 buck. jc -- You received this message because you are subscribed
