I own Rivendell Road serial # R73M. It is match built. You will find a lot
of information about that short-lived venture in Rivendell Reader Issue 15.
I bought it on Ebay in 2006. I believe it was delivered to the original
owner in 2001.

Justin,
I have one I can spare.
I don't have anything like paypal for payment, but I am happy to send it on
to a list member at no charge.
If you would like for me to send it, email me a david(dot)carner49 at gmail.

I guess I am guilty of the same faux pas. My heavy duty build was not
completed until well into 2020, but the frame is from the 2019 batch.
Apologies,

Jeff,
I posted the picture above. Based on listing at Rivbike , I think these are the
huge. I have several. I’m not trying to cut anyone out of sale, but I would be
happy to mail 2 or 3 to you at no cost to you. I am just up the road at 39601.
You may PM me if interested.
I am placing this in a new thread so as not to perpetuate the one that
predictably devolved into internecine squabbling. My observations are based
on the recollection that this story of stolen bicycles caused a similar
kerfuffle on the forum that preceded this one.
I am fairly sure that Mark
Has anyone fendered a 2019 Clem with the 584 - 60 (actual 55) Schwalbe G1
Speed tires that RBW carries? The obvious choice would be the B65 fenders
they recommend, but they have been out of stock at RBW since I started
checking in July. They are available elsewhere, but I would like to hear
I don't claim to "know", but I suspect it has to do with the Clem now being
considered part of the Hillibike stable.
My crude measurements on a new 52 compared to the numbers in the geometry
chart on the frame page are: Effective top tube has increased 3 cm. (61 to
64), front center by 7 cm.
Approximately 7.5 cm.

You did not mention the size of your Clem L and as Joe mentioned the tube
size may vary by bike size. My August, 2019 Clem L 52 also requires a
31.8. I was interested to note that the seat tube is tapered, 31.8 at the
bottom, approximately 28.6 at the top.

I have had a similar problem with my 2010 Sam. A little different in that it is
most noticeable on the drive side down stroke and particularly when spinning
when not climbing. I put it down to poor peddling technique until it got worse.
After making sure it was not a crank issue I have
I have a production Silver hub. My memory is not as detailed as Jeremy's,
but I took the hub apart to add grease to the pawls when I first received
it. It required no special tools and Jeremy's description fits what I do
recall. I have had no problems with the hub over approximately 3000
nning a 42/26 and how do you like it?

Toby,
I installed a Rene Herse crankset (double 44/28) on my Riv Road about a
year ago. I don't think the pinned and ramped rings were available in that
size at the time, so I have the standard 5-10 model. Since I was staying
with 9 speed in the rear I used a new SRAM PC 971 that I already had

I think I remember you mentioning that you did the Hattie 100 ride in
Hattiesburg, Mississippi last Spring. Wondering if you plan to bring one of
your revitalized Rivendells down for that this year?

I removed the fenders from my Road Standard early this year after getting
frustrated with some noise issues. Two weeks ago I participated in an organized
