I'm running the same 2.2" tires as Ray Varella, tubeless, and they fit
great with plenty of mud clearance. I'm not going to take a picture, you'll
just have to believe us! Those Herse tires are the perfect Platypus tires

Sach's decade long waiting list is a recent invention from frame building's
explosion in popularity around the late 00s / early 10s. It wasn't always
that difficult to have him build you a bike.
In the 90s I believe he designed some lugs for Rivendell, and then later
made 3 frames or so
That Bleriot is a total write off unless you know how to weld and want a
big project. The cost of repairing it would easily get you a new Riv!

Seems like they cleaned it up a bit and added compass tires and wipers (the
ones in the original listing look like they were dry rotted and no good).

People want the stuff (myself included) and I know the margin is there to

I run 43mm Gravelkings on my 55 canti sam w/fenders and they fit fine. I
think the 50mm would probably squeeze in (assuming they are a slick tire,
and not knobby), but you'd be leaving very little room for any debris. That
might be an issue if your wheel is ever slightly out of true or dish.
What excites me is that it's a 650b Hillborne... perhaps a production
sample from the upcoming release? That'd be cool to see!
