I have Berthoud 60mm stainless steel fenders over 50mm Marathon sUpremes on my Atlantis. I'm comfortable with the clearance, though others whose judgment I respect on this list think it's a little skinny. But over 42mm tires they'd be perfect. They are available from Peter White Cycles. Excellent quality fenders.

Would consider going to 38mms, but honestly, I'd prefer to keep things fat. 50mm tires would be even better! - I mostly ride on the road, but occasionally hit some light gravel - I'd much prefer aluminum over plastic. I don't think Honjo makes a set that meets my requirements. Any other recommendations, or am I wrong about Honjo?
