Apparently a man in Mass recently was killed in a solo bike crash when his fork failed. The fork was subject to a recall in 2008, and presumably he didn't know about the recall. Folks in the cycling community in general are trying to get the word out again, hopefully before anybody else that missed the recall is hurt
The bike was a Cervelo Soloist. There are about 5800 of them out there. The fork is a True Temper Wolf SL. The recall happened in August 2008, so anybody riding a True Temper Wolf SL on a bike predating 2008 ought to look into it.
