As I recall, I had to pay shipping to send a Sturmey-Archer-equipped wheel to
Napa for servicing. Fortunately, the repair involved replacing parts inside the
hub—the wheel didn’t need to be rebuilt.

If they're going to do a warranty repair, that's a tacit admission of a defect.
Is it common for a company to pay shipping both ways in this situation?
