To state the obvious, I think you should send these pix to Riv and see what
they say, strictly for advise purposes. You've no doubt read the "No warranty,
Warranty" on the site. They may also recommend a frame builder, if it comes to

OK, let me say first of all that I’m not an expert and *not* a metallurgist.
However … yes, that looks like a crack to me, but I’m not sure I’d be worried
about a catastrophic failure anytime soon.

I was performing a very rare bike cleaning and saw a bit of a chip in the
paint of the headtube on my Sam. It is a 60cm, single top tube orange one
with side pulls, if you are interested. I am the second ownder and have put
5000 or so miles on it over the last three years.
Can you all take a
