My best friend is repainting and rebuilding his 70s era Mercian Vincitore. In his quest to renew this great bike, he has decided to part with the old bits. He was about to list a bunch of stuff on ebay, so I asked him to let me first see if the group has any interest. He hasn't taken any photos (yet), but I can get him to if you'd like. The prices listed are what he'd really like to get, but if you are interested and feel they are unreasonable, let me know and he will haggle.
Phil Wood front hub, 120 mm, 36H, small rust spots. Re-laced multiple times. Latest bearing set has about 4k miles, but rolls beautifully. Phil Wood rear hub 126 mm (threaded), 36H, a few small rust spots. Outside of right flange has scratches from chain over-shifting large cog (hub is circa 1975, over-shifting was a given back then. That’s why there were pie plates). Bearings replaced about 6k miles ago, and could maybe use a replacement. $50 for the set, free shipping COUNS. ~ Suntour Winner Ultra-6, 14-24. Less than 500 miles, spotless. Just the slightest amount of tooth wear, otherwise close to new. Recently cleaned and lubed w/light oil. $35, free shipping CONUS ~ Campy down tube cable stop, no Campy clamp bolt. Almost NOS. $10, free shipping CONUS. ~ Mavic T520 36H rims. T for tandem or touring, these are heavy duty rims (approx 565 g). Now known as A719. Silver. When I unlaced these, they were still within 1/32” true. No corrosion or rust. Approx 4k miles, no dings or dents. $40 + shipping (rims aren't cheap to ship...) Dave -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
