I moved to SF last week and am reworking my Joe. I enjoyed having this large Saddlesack but find it unwieldy for regularly taking on & off and too precious to leave on the bike in the city. Swapping to a smaller QR saddlebag and front basket setup.
Bag has seen regular use since March-ish. It's the new type with the fabric mounting "bracket." The grey fabric is slightly lighter and flexier than the olive fabric. Bag is in good condition. Has some greasy bits on the bracket and a curious leather scratch on the dowel rod sleeve. The scratch is surface level. I sanded down the edges of the dowel in case that was the cause. I think the dowel might be too short for the bag.
