After my summer's three week stint in Eastern Washington I returned to Northern
California.
As I wrote earlier, goatheads are always a problem in the dry climate of
Eastern Washington.
They seem to come in various vintages and like wine get better (worser) with
age, lurking in
nooks and
Jim: when you get your Foss tubes, please assemble and ride through a
goathead patch and let us know the results. If you're tires are safe,
I'll buy some!
