You need a model that is 7/8" or 22.2 mm in diameter to fit tourist or
mtb type brake levers and shifters, not the 23.8 mm or 15/16" road bar
diameter. (Note that these diameters are different from the clamp
diameters which, historically, have been respectively 25.4 mm and 26.0
mm -- mostly.

I like the M-Bars alot and am thinking of setting my next bike up with
them however I am wondering if it's possible to get a setup like a 92
XO-2 or 93 XO-3 where there are brakes and grips near the end versus
the centered road bike brakes. The problem would be width of the bar
