Yes I know of the analog stems. I wrote them a few days ago...they aren't
sure when their next run is going to be and it sounds like they are looking
for a producer to make them..so those aren't available new now.

I have a Soma quill adapter with a 40mm threadless stem which allows me to use
a Jones Loop Bar on my 1985 MB-2, and it works great. I chose the Soma because
it was the adapter that I could find with the greatest length to get the bars
way up high.

Not as elegant as a Nitto stem, you can get a quill stem adapter and put a
threadless style stem on it. MTB stems are available down to 30mm or so,
