Not all saddles got the tin of Proofide with the saddle in the past.  The 
straight up B-17s did not but the higher end ones (that came packaged in a 
box) did often have the tin.  SO maybe the special deal here is that all 
saddles for a limited amount of time will get the small sample size with 
the saddle?  Hard to tell from what is quoted here.
