Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I decided to give her the pari-motos off of my Saluki and ride her Rumpkins for awhile. But after removing the Rumpkins, with great effort, I decided to buy a new set of pari-motos for myself. I don't need bullet proof tires. Since retiring and doing

I have those cream SKS 45s on my Sam with side pulls and running Little Bens . I admit it's a tight fit. I hear gravel pieces scraping the fender at times and even get large leaves stuck. Most of the times it's okay. But the cream matches the lugs and I like the looks of them. . -- You

Where did you find the Pari-moto for $32. Soma lists them for $65 Tires Direct for $59. I have them on my Saluki like them. Michael On Monday, April 20, 2015 at 2:45:05 PM UTC-4, Sky Coulter wrote: Don't know the precise measurements, but there is a comfortable margin w hetres and an

FWIW, I have a 650b Sam with the silver sidepulls, but the clearances should be similar to your Betty. I ran the Rumpkins with the crème P45 Longboards for a while but the fit was very tight. I switched to the new P50 Longboards and used Sheldon's fender nuts and got a much better fit with

Emilia, my wife, rides a Betty with 50mm 650b Berthoud fenders and ~37mm Col de la Vies. I know many run these fenders with Hetres on other bikes and assume they would work well together on the Betty, but we haven't tried it. -Oliver On Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 6:13:10 PM UTC-7, Michael

Thanks, that's helpful and I agree about the cream fenders on a Betty. How wide are the hetres? They are listed at 41, same as the Rumpkins? Michael On Monday, April 20, 2015 at 12:24:22 AM UTC-4, Sky Coulter wrote: my wife's betty has sks 45mm w hetres. I filed the bracket mounting slot

Don't know the precise measurements, but there is a comfortable margin w hetres and an uncomfortable one w the rumpkins. But if you want more clearance the pari motos for 32 bucks are quite nice. I can't really tell much of a difference between them and the hetres. -- You received this
