Thanks for the info. I sold most of my bikes to fund my Hunqapillar
project and I have a new 9 speed chain left over that I had for my
Lemond Zurich. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt so narrow that it
would jam in between the cogs. Looks like it will work perfect.

Yes 9 speed chains work just fine with 7 speed FW's. The only
difference in a 9sp vs. a 6,7,8sp chain is the outside width, the
inside width(the part that matters) is the same.
