I think I've got a pretty nice Nitto S65 Crystal Fellow in 27.2 somewhere
around here I'd offer up for $30, if you're interested. However, you should
get a two bolter and never look back. The S83 is as perfect seatpost as has
ever been, or if you love mega super layback in beautiful steel, the
lambbo, seat post is Velo Orange Grand Cru. It's good - only possible
downside is that you can't slam it if you really need to because of the
bend.

Thanks for the kind words all.
SeanMac, re the Ottolock, huge thumbs up. It's light, it's easy, and I like
a combination lock so I don't have to carry around a key. I'm sure the lock
is breakable, but it deters the unplanned theft. That's all I'm after
anyway. I don't think people want to
I bought the bell that way. It was Tomii cycles, Austin, TX.

Deacon, the Albastache bars changed the bike for me. I started with
albatross bars. and I just felt too upright. I can't explain why. Maybe
naturally bad posture? Leaning forward a bit feels better for sure.

Hey Joe, thanks for the kind words. The zip ties are for the taillight.
Maybe there's a more elegant way to run the wire? I couldn't figure it out.

Stunning and so functional too! Exceptionally well done.
Deacon asked about the Albastache bars. I'm curious as well.
Thank you for sharing the photos:-)

Looking great! Did you design the patina on the bell somehow or did it come
with that stripe down the middle? Makes me want to try albastachhe on my 55cm
cheviot

all Cheviots are handsome and that's one of the *most *handsome! Great
wheels, and I'm jealous of the look of no fenders!

Thumbs up! I love the little details that personalize our bikes. I also
noted the front rack that has a light mount welded on?

Very cool pictures, Jim. Thanks for sharing them with the group.
I've got a grey Cheviot in my stable that I love riding. It functions
mainly as my bike-trail and grocery store bike.
Do you like the Ottolock? I've been thinking about getting one for my
Cheviot - though I had not
Deacon, it was your photos that got me installing Albastache bars in the
first place!

I think the Cheviot is one of the most striking bikes made.
You have certainly kicked yours up a notch.
The most notable thing to me is how comfortable the Cheviot is... You can
ride it all day long and still not want to get off the saddle.
Nice build!
